Side Note: Do you know how difficult it is for a typing-type person to type without spaces? Not easy.
We've been living life here. I realized that I needed to drop a few things, step back, and sort of get ahold of my own life again. Hush, as it were. So the blog got dropped. And I didn't miss it the way I thought I would. I thought for a little while that I wouldn't miss it at all, eventually. Just as I started to think that, though, I started to miss it. And not the writing, although I do think that its good for me. I missed yous guys. My friends that I've made on here. I still kept checking in here, clicking through at the bottom to y'all's blogs. Commented a little bit. Played stalker for the most part.
But honestly, I got pretty tired of that last post I wrote just sitting there, telling the world how I cried and I didn't know why. WAH. I'm over me. Figured that you were, too. So I've given you a new picture, and some new words, and now I want to know, whats new with you? What did May do for you? What did you learn? Eat? Think? Experience? Eat?? (Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm hungry)
- Learned that 1 good nap a day is good enough
- Finally finished up Paramedic school (woot woot!!)
- Traveled to Puerto Rico, where we ate all the plantains the island had to offer
Dear Puerto Rico Please send me some plantains. The ocean, too, if you can manage it. Love, M. |
- Enjoyed the flowers
- Started running again
- Snagged a babysitter so I could go to the office and do work
Maybe we did more. May was a while ago. What was your May all about? Or yesterday, however far back you can remember. June, well, we're working on making June count. Squeezing every bit of summer and sunshine out of it while still trying to learn how to have a schedule and naps and, honestly, how to do life with a baby. Its a learning curve, for sure, but I'm hoping we start catching on soon!
<3 M.
Glad you popped back in. I do the same thing from time to time and it's definitely ok. :) May was grand. But too speedy fast. Hoping to take some deep breaths and enjoy the summer.
ReplyDeleteBEEN there. Glad you're back :)
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! You're back!! I'm glad. One good nap a day? I'm not ready for baby to be awake that much!! How do you get things done when baby is awake?! AHHHH!!! PARENTING IS HARD! Okay, done now. Anyway, I'm glad you're back.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention I'm glad you're back? HA!
